I was wandering through Michael’s one day, and found Lion Brand’s Heartland line. It’s incredibly soft and I wanted something super easy to knit that would be relaxing and soothing to wear. I went with the colorway ‘Grand Canyon’ since we are currently living in Arizona, but really loved ‘Dry Tortugas’ and, because I’m from Ohio, ‘Cuyahoga Valley’. Honestly, all the colors in this line are beautiful and with their price point, I can see myself knitting multiple sweaters and cardigans, just to be able to work with them all. The pattern is extremely easy and well written, and because the yarn is worsted weight and knit on a US 7, it knit up very quickly.
